Department of Textile Technology, IIT Delhi has beenactively involved in all areas of textile technology through teaching and research.The faculty members of the Department of Textile Technology, IIT Delhi have been working in the area of technical textiles, which resulted in several products, patents, student projects, and publications in many international journals.As many applications of technical textiles are inter disciplinary in nature, the textile faculty have been working with faculty either from other departments of IIT Delhi or from other institutions of international repute.
IIT Delhi campus is an ideal setting for organization of conference on technical textiles. The Campus is spread over 320 acres in middle of the city with goodconnections to both airports and railway station.
